About Open Equity
Wall Street doesn't cover small-caps. We do.
The Coverage Gap
There are thousands of publicly traded small-cap, micro-cap, and nano-cap companies that receive zero analyst coverage. No research reports, no price targets, no institutional attention. These companies are invisible to most investors — and that's where the opportunity lives.
Our Mission
Open Equity publishes institutional-quality research on small-cap ($300M–$2B), micro-cap ($50M–$300M), and nano-cap (under $50M) companies. We analyze financials, insider activity, catalysts, competitive positioning, and risk factors — the same framework Wall Street uses for large caps, applied to the companies they ignore.
Independence
Independence matters more in small-cap research than anywhere else. We never accept payment from the companies we cover — no sponsored research, no paid promotions, no conflicts. Our analysis exists to serve investors, not issuers.
Why Small-Caps?
The best risk-adjusted returns in public markets historically come from small, underfollowed companies. Less efficient pricing means more opportunity for informed investors. But without quality research, most people can't access that edge. That's what we fix.
Who We Are
Open Equity is built by a small team of investors and analysts obsessed with finding value in overlooked corners of the market. We combine rigorous fundamental analysis with modern data tools to produce research that rivals what institutions pay thousands for.
